Our growing riverside community
Looking for a unique space to grow your business?
By car
The entrance to Riverside Works is off the Buxton Road (A6), a two minute drive from Bakewell town centre. Parking is available on site, with limited customer parking outside certain businesses and a main car park just a short walk away.
By bike
Riverside Works is the perfect stop for a pre-ride coffee and bun, or post-ride pizza and pint. Access to the site is via the smaller bridge over the River Wye off the Buxton Road (A6). We are currently working to introduce secure bike parking.
By Bus
The Transpeak TP3 bus service, running between Matlock and Buxton (and through to Derby via the TP2 service) stops at the Lumford Mill bus stop, which is right beside our pedestrian footbridge off the A6 (Buxton Road). TM Travel also operate the Peak Line 218 service between Bakewell and Sheffield city centre.
By Foot
Riverside Works is less than a 10 minute walk from the Centre of Bakewell, follow Buxton Road (A6), which runs adjacent to the crystal clear waters of the River Wye. Entry to the site is via our footbridge over the river.
